In the fifth edition of our Customer Focus Series, moderated by Commercial Director Mert Yagci, we are traveling to Miami, featuring Paramount Aviation Services —the fastest-growing training provider in the region, scaling from zero to twelve full-flight simulators while achieving full regulatory compliance
Reflecting on this journey, Mert Yağcı noted: "Simorg is proud to digitally support Paramount in achieving this impressive growth. We are delighted to work with such an ambitious team that inspires us to grow stronger as we move forward together."
Guided by the expertise of Compliance Manager Nelson Gonzalez, Paramount has embraced digital transformation with Simorg to manage growth, ensure operational control, and stay audit-ready at all times. Their story reflects a shared vision for smarter, more scalable aviation training built on expertise and innovation.
Paramount Aviation provides flight training and simulator services that support commercial, business, and military flight operations worldwide. Paramount’s Miami International Airport flight training campus is home to a state-of-the-art twelve (12) bay simulator facility situated in Miami, Florida, USA.
Nelson Gonzalez has been a dedicated and accomplished aviation executive with two decades of compliance management experience. He has held executive positions in multiple companies, bringing strategic leadership and vision to the training compliance. Under his guidance, Paramount Aviation Services has grown steadily—acquiring and certifying 12 advanced flight simulators for various aircraft types, including the Boeing 757, 767, and Airbus A320—while ensuring full regulatory compliance and supporting rapid operational growth.
Nelson: What started in 1988 as Aeroservice Aviation Center with one DC8 flight simulator grew into multiple locations and became one of the largest commercial flight training centers in the world. Today our main 65,000 square foot, state-of-the-art campus is located across from the Miami International Airport. Our name may have changed but the commitment to flight training quality, reliability, and customer focused responsiveness remains as strong as ever.
Nelson: We became from zero sims to twelve in a very short period of time. While our company name may be new, our team consists of industry veterans with extensive experience. Our strategy is built on leveraging this expertise to scale effectively while maintaining the highest standards in training and operations.
Nelson: Managing rapid growth requires more than just experience—it also takes the right tools. Simorg has played a key role in helping us integrate each new simulator smoothly into our operations. It has supported consistent process improvements and helped us stay in full control. Today, we are proud to say that we are 100% digitally ready for all authority audits—everything is logged, tracked, and approved digitally. This not only makes life easier for our team but also for FAA auditors who appreciate the clarity and transparency Simorg provides.
Nelson: Just a few years ago, aviation training was largely analog. Over the past decade, rapid technological advancements have significantly improved the quality and consistency of training. As the industry grows, safety and compliance have become more critical than ever. All these high standards demand customized solutions, and digitalization has enabled us to implement these solutions in a controlled and efficient manner.
